Homer, my Uncle Alex and Aunt Cheryl's dog, passed away last night due to cancer. He was a member of the family for nearly 14 years so this is a painful loss for everyone but especially for my aunt and uncle. But, we will all remember Homer fondly and with love. He was a goofy dog but so fun and good natured. Just look at that fluffy guy. You couldn't help but love him. I'll always remember Homer for teaching me about "the fan". He used to hang out in front of a fan 365 days a year. At first, I thought he was kinda crazy but one hot summer day, Dad got me a fan and it changed my life. I, too, spend most of my summer sprolled out on the cool tile in front of my fan and I have Homer to thank for that. I'll miss you, dear cousin, but I'll never forget you. Rest peacefully.Sunday, September 26, 2010
