Autumn Rewind

I'm really falling behind on my reporting.  We had a busy autumn.  Nate turned 5 in October.  A week later, I got to spend the week with Grandmom and Grandpop while Mommy, Daddy and the boys visited Uncle Alex in Wisconsin.  They visited the Busy Barn Farm and had a great week with cousin Bart.  The weather was nice so we tried to play outside as much as possible for the rest of October and November.  When we weren't running around, me, Nate and Sam would sit together and pose for pictures.

Halloween 2014

Halloween is still my least favorite holiday but it's slowly growing on me.  Something amazing happened on Halloween.  I WON a costume contest at Mommy's work!  Last year, I only received one vote from the students at Ursinus for my bumblebee costume.  So, this year, Mom and I worked really hard on converting that bumblebee into Toothless the dragon and the work paid off.  Out of 15 or so doggies, I had the best costume as voted on by the students at the college.  It was one of my proudest moments.  I even won a prize.  I won a pumpkin squeeky toy.  It's now my favorite toy and I keep it with me almost all the time, now.

Later that night, we decided to go trick-or-treating as a family.  I like this much better than staying at home and handing out candy.  Nate and Sam were both Hiccup or vikings from How to Train Your Dragon.

Summer Sports Part 3: Swimming

We joined a swim club this summer.  Mom, Dad and the boys went there quite a bit this summer.  Another activity I was left out of but I didn't mind staying home, resting in front of my fan.  I do love a good swim though.  Luckily, I got to swim in Grandmom and Grandpop's pool.

The first two pictures are from the pool at Dewey beach.

These two were taken at the swim club.

Summer Sports Part 2: Soccer

Once the gymnastics season ended, soccer season began.  This was a new one for Nate and Sam.  Again, I wasn't invited to these classes.  Daddy was worried that I would interfer with the lessons because I would try to herd all the small children into the goal net.  I guess he had a point.  I am a shepherd after all.  It my instinct and my job.  I don't like small animals to move in disorder.  I'd rather that they stay bunched up together.  Keeps them warm and safe.

Turns out my skills weren't needed.  The coaches did a decent job herding the little ones.

Summer Sports Parts 1: Gymnastics

Nate and Sam have been going to gymnastics class for quite some time now.  Mommy loads them into the car once a week and when they return a bit later, the boys are always tired and very hungry for lunch.  It was explained to me that I can't go to gymnastics class because I don't have opposable thumbs and won't be able to swing on the uneven bars.  I'm a little disappointed because I would love to show off my balance beam skills.  For real.  I can walk on a curb without so much as a bobble.  Sign me up for the next Olympics!

Anyway, here's some pics of Nate and Sam at their big gymnastics recital.
