Happy Birthday to Me!

It's official.  I'm old.  12.  I feel it in my hips, shoulders and ankles but ya know?  I still love my work.  I take Daddy for a walk every morning.  Then I jump back into bed to keep Mommy's feet warm while she waits for Nate and Sam to wake up.  I monitor bath time at night to make sure everyone is safe and I help put the boys to bed.  Every night.  Throughout the day, I help clean the kitchen floor (those boys are messy eaters) and I take Nate and Sam outside for at least one play time and one walk.  These activities keep me happy and I love every minute.  Age is just a number and 12 doesn't bother me at all.

My First Train Trip

And probably my last train trip.  For me, it was just OK.  I didn't hate the train but didn't love it either.  Lots of people love me though.  I don't know what it is about me that people love but all day long, folks say how handsome, calm and relaxed I am and they ask Mommy and Daddy if they can pet me.  One little girl almost squeezed me to pieces on the train.  I hid under the bench after that.  Everybody has their limits, ya know?  All in all, it was a fun day.  Nate and Sam loved the train ride and then enjoyed yummy hot dogs and ice cream from a vendor in the town square (I got some hot dog and ice cream too, shhhh).  Many thanks to the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway for a great day!

Vacation Stitches

These first few pictures are from early Spring.  The boys and I enjoy watching cartoons on the Ipad together.  Nate and Sam went to Babci's residence for an Easter Egg hunt and came back with about 250 eggs.  But no dog treats!  Yeesh!  In early May, I went to Grandmom and Grandpop's house for vacation and the rest of the herd went to Lancaster for a few days.  They went to the train museum, dutch wonderland and the Turkey Hill Experience.  Nate had a little accident at breakfast one morning and cut the back of his head.  He was a trooper while he got his first 2 stitches but Mommy told me that Nate was crying for me the whole time.  I wish I could have been there to hold his paw.

Happy Easter!

A fabulous Easter was had by all.  Nate and Sam woke up early to find their baskets.  EB is a stinker.  He hopped up high to hide Sam's basket in the dining room chandelier (which Sam walked under at least a dozen times before he spotting his basket) and Nate's basket was found in the mudroom.  I didn't get a basket but that's OK, I understand that bunnies aren't too fond of dogs.  Easter was somewhat bittersweet because it's the last time we'll be at Ss. Peter and Paul so we took lots of pictures of the Easter service.  Mommy was baptized there, she grew up in that church.  Mommy and Daddy were married there and Nate and Sam were baptized there too.  I've even been there quite a few time.  I haven't been baptized but I'm sure I have baptized the side entrance a few times.  Ss. P and P is closing a new church is opening in a few weeks.  It's a new chapter and we are all excited.  Can you spot me in the last 2 pics of our Easter feast?  Happy Easter!  Khrystos Voskres!
